Get involved There are lots of ways to get involved with us to help Navajeevana and its beneficiaries. You can get involved with an existing event, plan a fundraising event yourself, or make a donation directly to Friends of Navajeevana. We will make sure that any donation you make goes directly to the people that need it most - Navajeevana's beneficiaries - and will give you updates, photos and information about how they have benefitted from your donation. So here are some facts and figures to help you decide why you should get involved with us: Navajeevana costs £250 per day to run One year’s education for a child at one of Navajeevana's special schools costs £140 A new prosthetic limb for an adult costs £150 A custom made wheelchair costs £110 A course of  physiotherapy for one client per session costs £3.25 A day’s speech therapy for an adult costs £2.30 A one-day training course in IT skills to allow a disabled person to build a better future costs £2.75 (prices correct in 2008) Making a donation We will be setting up an online fundraising page soon, but if you want to donate to us in the meantime please email us at friendsofnavajeevana@googlemail.com and we will help you make a donation.
